Privacy Policy

Last updated July 14, 2026.

The short version: we use one first-party product-analytics service (PostHog) so we can see how visitors use the site and fix what's broken. No ad trackers, no retargeting pixels, no data selling, no cold drip campaigns. What you type into a form is used for exactly what the form says. You can see your full scan report without giving us anything.

1. What we collect

That's the whole list. Viewing the site, reading the report, and browsing pricing require nothing from you.

2. What we use it for

We don't do cold drip campaigns to scan users. If you asked for one PDF, you get one PDF.

3. Who we share it with

No one, except the service providers needed to deliver the above: our email delivery provider (to send what you requested) and Stripe (payments — your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers). We never sell, rent, or trade your information.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use PostHog for our own product analytics — pageviews, button clicks, and session replay (a video-like reconstruction of your visit so we can spot broken flows). PostHog sets a first-party cookie to remember whether you're the same person across pages of this visit; sensitive form inputs are masked in recordings. Data stays in our PostHog account — no advertisers, no data brokers, no data selling. That's the only third-party service that touches your browser here: no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no ad retargeting, no fonts or scripts loaded from third parties. If you'd rather not be counted, block us.i.posthog.com in an ad-blocker and you're out of the data.

5. For clients

Delivering the service requires manager access to your Google Business Profile, which means we process business data inside your Google account: reviews, insights, photos, profile settings. We use it only to deliver the service, and access ends when you cancel.

6. Retention and deletion

Form submissions are kept while they're useful for what you requested, and client records for the length of the engagement plus normal accounting requirements. Want anything deleted? Email hello@maptakeover.com from the address in question and it's done — no forms, no waiting period, no retention specialist trying to talk you out of it.

7. Changes

If this policy changes in any way that matters, we'll note the new date at the top and email anyone whose data is affected by the change.
